Q - 10. What are the 'tokens' mentioned by the poet in the poem 'Animals'?

Answer- The 'token' mentioned by the poet is the sound good qualities in man. These are friendship, love, sympathy, co -operation, fellow feeling, kindness and so on.

Q - 11. Why does the poet want to become an animal?

Answer- The poet discovered that the human beings are very much complicated and false. They are always dissatisfied. The animals are placid and self - contained having no complaints. Thus the tokens in them make the poet decided to turn himself into an animal.
